It began with Doris.
I've spent nearly fifteen years in luxury retail, most of them inside two great Italian houses, Prada and Ferragamo. Those years taught me what lasts: exceptional materials, honest craftsmanship, and the kind of attentive service that remembers exactly how a client likes things done. They also left me regarding the average dog collar with quiet disbelief.
Then came Doris, my French bulldog, who has never once accepted the ordinary. She taught me that a dog is the most telling thing a person owns: a reflection of their taste, carried at the end of a leash. So I made her collars to the standard I had spent my career upholding, in Grade A exotic leathers backed in goatskin, and Rich Dogue grew from there.
Doris remains our muse and our sternest critic. Reign, a second Frenchie who arrived after the brand did, is still learning the ropes, mostly by chewing them.
